Privacy Policy
The short version. The game collects nothing about you, sends nothing anywhere, and has no account to sign into. Everything it remembers lives on your phone, and deleting the app deletes it.
What we collect
Nothing. Big Catch does not collect, store or transmit personal data of any kind. There is no sign-in, no email address, no username, no contacts, no photos and no location.
What the game stores on your device
Your progress is saved on your phone so the game is where you left it. That is coins, level, which spots and gear you own, which fish and salvage you have found, your records and your settings. It never leaves the device, and nobody but you can read it.
Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes all of it permanently. There is no backup and no copy anywhere else, so this cannot be undone.
Permissions
Big Catch asks for no runtime permissions. It does not use the camera, the microphone, location, storage, contacts or the phone's identifiers. Microphone access is explicitly blocked in the app's manifest, because the audio library it uses would otherwise request it without needing it.
The internet
The game does not need a connection and works fully offline. It does not contact any server, and it has no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind.
Advertising
There is no advertising in the game and no advertising identifier is read. If that ever changes, this page will be updated before the version containing ads is released, and it will name the advertising provider and what it collects.
Children
Big Catch is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either. It is not directed at children under 13 specifically, and no personal information is knowingly gathered from anyone of any age.
Your rights
Rights such as access, correction, deletion and portability apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to request, correct, export or erase on our side. The only copy of anything is on your device, and it is under your control.
Changes to this policy
If the game starts doing something this page does not describe, this page is updated first. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
